WuXi AppTec, Inc. offers comprehensive, fully integrated, GLP/GMP compliant discovery, testing - with global capabilities and capacities - for pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and tissue-based products.
The scientist will be responsible for organizing, planning and performing duties related to the development of new testing services for medical device safety assessments. Daily activities include performing research for new assay design and hands-on assay development work. Once studies have been validated, this person is responsible for transferring the assay to the appropriate departments and training personnel as needed..
A BS/BA in Biology or related science major field or equivalent experience with 5 years of experience in a research setting. Experience in developing assays required. Candidates should have background in medical device or biologics field and in-vitro assays.
